Mid Penn Bank is an independent community bank formed in 1868. We are a traditional, yet progressive community bank headquartered in Dauphin County, Central Pennsylvania. Mid Penn Bank serves two markets with its primary market being towns that adjoin the Harrisburg market. Mid Penn Bank enjoys a market share of 50-60% of the communities served in this market.
Mid Penn Bank is expanding into the Harrisburg market where it maintains a very small market share that has enjoyed consistent long-term expansion. The Harrisburg market has a growing population, a diversified economy, a low unemployment rate and the infrastructure for continuing growth.
Mid Penn Bank is focusing on our role as a community business bank with local people making local decisions. We maintain a high quality loan portfolio with 70% of loans outstanding to small business customers.
Mid Penn Bancorp has provided a long history of solid performance and growth. Our shareholders have been rewarded with a generous dividend plus favorable price appreciation over time. We see a strong future for a full service community bank in a growing market, which provides high quality banking services and offers a full line of financial services.
